On February 21st, during the prestigious Diaman Awards 2025 gala night, we at Framont Management were honored to receive the award for the Best Flexible Portfolio for the year 2024 with a staggering +32,43% before fees.
Often success is represented as the visible tip of an iceberg, while beneath the surface lies a much larger mass built on sacrifice, dedication, perseverance, intellect, and teamwork. The picture of us receiving the award is just the tip of that iceberg: a milestone, not the final destination, on a journey that began many years ago.
We are particularly proud of this recognition because the flexible portfolio is, in our opinion, one of the most challenging to manage. Unlike single-asset strategies, it requires the portfolio manager to excel in equity, fixed-income and commodities, combining a broad set of skills and knowledge. Furthermore, this type of portfolio is among the most in-demand by clients, seeking the security of bonds with the potential upside of equities, making the competition fierce.
Winning first place in this category means outperforming well-established Italian and international private banking institutions. This result fills us with immense pride, not only for our own achievement but, most importantly, for the satisfaction of our clients.
